Trying To Be Cool

The days were drawing closer and closer to my sister's departure to Texas for her summer internship and as a result we did our best to use the last couple of days wisely by throwing a massive League of Legends (LoL) chill day with our senseis (the spelling looks so odd but you guys get the jist of what I mean) in order to improve our skills on a more rapid pace since we only met half way with our goal to reach level 30 by the end of the month. Surprisingly the internet connection wasn't all that shabby with approximately 10 or even more pcs and devices connected to it. And what better way to end the day then to grub on some yummy Okonomiyaki~ (Can you guys guess who the young grasshoppers are and who are the senseis?)

We're Lost in the Maze of Our Hearts

 I just realized after staring into my closet in an attempt to revamp it that majority of my clothes fall under the color shades of black, white, or blue. Inevitably, I decided to put together a small collage of outfit inspirations that utilize those shades. Maybe because black and white pieces will never get old since they're the ultimate classy and chic colors. Blue adds a nice popping color to any outfit that's just simply black and white and it just reminds me of denim which, depending on how you choose to incorporate it in your outfit, can make a drastic change to the tone and feel of your outfit. It could give it a classy, 90s, festive, boho, etc. feel which is why to me, it is a staple piece to have in your closet all year round (any denim fabric or texture would be trendy in my eyes and can be worn at almost any time).

It Felt So Crystal in the Air

I know it seemed like I fell off the face of the earth but that's what happens when you get addicted to League of Legends (LoL). My friends just got me into it about a week now since I just got a spanking new laptop with supposedly spiffy specs so I was like what they hey, why not give it a shot right? and this is the result, me playing it 24/7 in an attempt to reach level 30 before June comes rolling in which just gives me a week. Whew! Even stayed up till 1am just to watch the League of Legends Championship Series (All Stars).

So yesterday we had a mega celebration for my sister. Mega because it was a combination of early birthday (her birthday being on June 9th), congratulatory (for scoring herself an internship with Hewlett Packard a.k.a HP), and going away (since she's leaving next Saturday and won't come back home till end of August sadly).  Met up with a couple of good friends before they won't get the chance to say their good byes and spend some last quality times with her. Ate at Caesar's Phillip's Seafood for lunch and the food was extraordinary, and pigged out on 3 different cakes (goodness gracious ha) and two of them were especially made by two of our good friends Stacy and Kenny. Afterwards, we pretty much walked around the Caesar's Pier Mall for a bit to burn off those loads of calories we just gained, opened some gifts publicly, and some in private, then headed out to Tanger Outlets in an attempt to burn off some of those calories. And man oh man, I chose a bad day to wear a dress cause it was crazy windy since we were by the shore, and I was literally, constantly trying to keep my dress from flying up and heaving a little Marilyn Monroe accident.

When You and I Were Forever Wild

Had an amazing time yesterday attending one of my best friend's college graduation (my very first college graduation that I've ever been to, to be exact ha). It was definitely a memorable and crazy day my friends! Started out the morning raining cats and dogs like you've never seen (then again it'd be odd if you did literally see cats and dogs rain from the sky) and once we got to the college campus to meet Han the weather started behaving and the grey clouds started clearing and it just got beautiful! After the ceremony and pictures we went to Chicken Pizza Kitchen (CPK) for dinner and I kid you not guys, both the food and service were wonderful! I only wish the closest one to my place could be less than 45 minutes away. Nonetheless, it was all worth it.

Life Feels Abstract

So for the record, it's finally gotten warm enough to walk outside the house without a thick jacket and looking crazy. Hopefully I don't end up jinxing that so let's just keep our fingers crossed for a beautiful month. And onwards! This is surprisingly the first time I actually braided my hair since I chopped more than half of it off earlier this year. Not too shabby right?

P.S. Less than two weeks and it'll finally be the end of the semester and summer time baby!
